Dear FreedomToChooseLA Member:

As you know, the City of Los Angeles has announced new deadlines, namely October 19th, for taking the “Jab” and reporting compliance, while specifying the consequences for not doing so – namely a 5-day suspension and ultimately termination.

Meanwhile the County has announced similar deadlines for its employees and indicated that the Passport Program will be implemented by October 7th. That passport, provided to only those who are ”jabbed’, will afford only the vaccinated entrance into indoor bars and nightclubs, concerts, sporting events (inside and outside when more than 5,000 are present). You can get into a Dodgers, Rams or Chargers game, or similar outdoor events where more than 10,000 are gathered with the passport, or proof of a negative Covid 19 test taken within the past 72 hours.

What is next?

Presently “they” are strongly recommending proof for indoor dining as well and your local stores are on the radar as well. At the same time, if you did not already know, Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and surrounding Schools withdrew threatened ”jab” mandates to successfully convince a federal court to not issue any rulings sought by the Children’s Health Defense and others in August.

The case was dismissed and not long thereafter, LAUSD after waiting and obtaining yet another opinion from Barbara Ferrer, the Social Worker heading up the County’s Public Health Unit, announced a new rule, namely if a student wants to participate in extra-curricular activities they have to be ”jabbed’. The deadline was yesterday.

What happened to NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND? I KNOW YOU CARE BUT WE NEED TO SHOW IT!!

Since each of these mandates affect you — not only your livelihood and ability to earn a living – but the wellbeing of your family, including your children, and your neighbors, we are expanding FreedomtoChoose to encompass more than just the workers.
